I’m still stuck on the Math/Jerry wess episode. These episodes are so long that it always takes me awhile to finish them. Haven’t gotten to the Ahdi Boom part yet. I actually wasn’t going to finish the episode because they spent so fukking long talking about Norbes/NJT. I mean these guys were beating that topic Battle truth style.

I finally got to this part. It was basically some Joe Budden “I don’t know” podcast shyt.

“What the paper work say? I don’t know glanced at it”

I can see why Bigg K was annoyed.

I think the idea is when you go against someone else in one of these cliques, they gas each other heavily (Especially NWX). On the playbacks its easy to think one of them got it even if they were spitting mid

This is the same thing that I took from Bigg K's statement

Listening to the Mickey Facts episode of my expert opinion. Math sounds stupid trying to put himself as the “guy” of the 2010s. The people don’t think he’s dope enough or have enough star power to be that guy.

Mickey was right, the people pretty much gravitated to Surf and Hitman. If K Shine would have started out stronger, he’d be right there.

They weren’t necessarily talking about the best battler of the decade, but the guy the fans gravitated to.

I put this on because of this, Mickey is usually good for some Battle Rap shyt

The one thing i hate about Math is the same thing about Budden, they both play these hating ass characters against certain people. How do you argue against Surf and Hitman for the 2010-2020 period, and even worse, how the fukk do you argue using Danny Myers? The shows are nice but sometimes you see who they don't like, and they act really bytchlike towards em. Tried to argue that surf was gone for 5 years and they had to go down the line damn near battle for battle putting Math in his place.

If there's one dude to not argue battle rap with imo, its Mickey. Dude's really a historian on the culture

What's the difference between a puncher and a pure writer? I mean best writer just comes down to bars right?
I think a puncher relies on pure punchlines to win (and usually throws a million out there, where after the battle about 5-6 of em stick for good), and the writers can punch, rap, scheme, tell stories, argue points, breakdown better in an all-around fashion. I just watched Rum vs Chilla two nights ago (classic), but if you watch that and especially Chilla's 3rd round I think you can see the difference.

Someone who i think has a decent pen while never being looked at as the coldest is T-Top. Dude can do it all against anyone

T Top already showed he was super well-rounded during UFF imo.
His run was incredible

He real-talked & punched SNO all over that small room :whew:

He outsmarted Saga with his angle
He had nikkas LAUGHIN JC out the building.

T Top really always been that nikka forreal.
DNA being linked to NWX simply took the street edge off him when he joined NWX from an overall public perception perspective, because nikkas think DNA is corny (He is, he’s a good battler tho)

Overall he always been nice and well-rounded as a battler
