See this is the problem. nikkas hear "Saga is a battler rapper who is christian" and they expect him to come spitting parable and bible verses back to back with an aggressive voice, knowing damn well that shyt would be wack and completely deflate the room. I don't know whether or not Saga is using his alignment with the church as a gimmick, but his rounds suggest he is still trying to keep the battle aggression without the outright threats and cursing. That leaves wordplay, random metaphors, and crowd pandering. The fukk else is he going to do? I know plenty of people who are Christian that don't exude that shyt 24/7, and I bet you do too.

but without the christian shyt none of his bars or performance is special at all. I could name 20 or more young nikkaz better that aint in his spot. So his whole reason for ANY buzz is literally him just saying hes christian in interviews or before the battle thats my point.

and it makes sense in that yes I know what he means but what is he talking about its random just to give you a mediocre stretch type bar. Nobody would be like nah I still body in regular conversation and Id be fine if it was on some chilla jones wordplay but its mediocre that punch isnt anything great.

Not to mention in the prep battle itself how many bars have we heard before ? Hospital gowns back out ? been said and saga had a few in every round. Breh he said "if not for this could you really make a name for yourself" and it got cheered like the greatest shyt ever. they was literally gassing everything the nikka said

and to the other dikkhead that quoted me no it aint personal, but when I see bullshyt and everyone else is calling it the greatest thing I gotta say smthg

Let him live man, he has a moment or two in his rounds. Most of us are fine with that. It's not as easy as you would like Saga to do. nah not so much the board but just the fact hes even on this card...I dont think its as hard to rap without cursing as people act and second saga just says my people do such and such and still says gangsta lines, him not cursing is just to fool people. Will Smith dont say oh my man will kill you.

but the main question I have, if he didnt say he was christian and just rapped the same way would he ever be on a URL main stage battling Suge after he just got bodied in a small room by Top after barely beating blaq mugga at a PG ? Hell no (no pon intended) Xcel isnt on URL anymore hes a million times better than Saga to me just an an example
