Mook was great initially, maybe the first two battles. Then I saw he spit the exact same verse like 4 times in 4 different battles. Got old quick. Don't get me wrong, he does have good lyrics, great delivery, clarity, humor. So he's a top notch battler for his time, but he won't fukk with the killers of this era.

Only one of them that is as good or better than these dudes is Lux. Serius can compete with these dudes after more polish.

Clips the ny calicoe, overhyped for nothing

Naw seriously clips got a lot of holes in his game that keeps him out my top 5. First off dude got 8-10 bars every battle where he end the bar wit nikka, that iritates the hell out me. Then he choking now, but covers it wit some sike I lied, and he gets away with it while everybody else get earl jokes then he done stole quite a bit of schemes he used, I mean damn he took the t mobile scheme right from k shine and nobody says nothing

But honestly he has only bodied tay rock, vs verb that was more the crowd than it was clips really going off, he was horrendous vs x factor and lyrically x was better, he was sloppy as shyt in chicago and lost to big t and serious jones 2-1. So naw no top 5 from me

my five faves

1. Hollow-most versatile, grindtime jokes, url gun raps, freestyles, delivery, humor, flow, dude is basically the PERFECT battle rapper, no weaknesses. I still consider his performance against Big T to be the best in battle rap

2. Math-similar to Hollow as far as versatility, dude can switch it up effortlessly between the humorous bars and the street talk. his 3rd round against Rex is a perfect example of this.

3. Pat Stay-just disrespectful as fuck, those bars he spit against Marvwon's autistic brother were just ruthless

4. Locksmith-most underrated battle rapper, mainly because he hasn't had many battles. but dude was/is a beast. check out his battle against Dizaster

5. Daylyt- dude is a weirdo and seems to believe his own gimmick, but its entertaining as hell and imo he currently has the best gun bars in the game. "Bullets like a funny joke, got everybody dying"

that's the whole beauty of this battle thing..everybody has their own fav battler, style..and unlike mainstream hip hop..where people usually dikkride 2 or 3 rappers..its refreshing to see.

Verb would have been in my top 5 if he stayed consistent. His guardian angel line/scheme is still one of the most disgusting things i ever witnessed. His battle with hollow was ridiculous too, so may crazy bars. Sigh, he needs to get focused again.
