I mean on paper, an A-1 Surf does everything Tay Roc does better. But I trust Roc more to go at a nikka's head for 3 rounds, Surf already talkin about he gonna have a round not aimed at Tay Roc and shyt. Like nikka you ain't that nice to be throwin away rounds lol

Gave it to Lux. I applaud Hollow's effort, but I can't give him the win off of outdated angles. It's like how Brizz was clowning Aye Verb's waves, but Verb was standing in front of him sporting a mohawk. Hollow was clowning Lux for lacking clarity & being unnecessarily complicated. That would have been hotter if Cal said it, but Lux improved in both aspects vs Hollow.
It's dope that Hollow threw everything but the kitchen sink against Lux (which is why many feel like he won), but imo his lyrics weren't as good, his performance wasn't as good (voice cracking n shyt), and some of his angles fell flat.

Lux/Hollow was a debatable preference battle. They both did well doing what they do.

I personally gave Lux every round. A rebuttal does not win you a round when your opponent is coming with heat. Hollow has way too many dry spots in general to beat elite lyrical guys with structure. Verb bodybagged him. Nyggas actually try to give Hollow the second just based on a rebuttal & the "fukk aye verb with a t-shirt that said I did it," when this nygga Verb killed him with no filler. Shyt was ugly. Hell I think Verb's second may have been better than his first.

Hollow's dry spots are a reason why I have a hard time picking him over Clips. Clips isn't super lyrical, but he's capable of crafting rounds with no dry spots.

I think Hollow's first against Surf was one of the worst rounds I've ever heard.

Man everybody tries to give Hollow that second against Verb, even Verb and it's bullshyt. Verb FRIED that nikka. shyt Verb's second was better than his first.
