First battle Ave vs Riggs:Ave 3-0 clearly no debating.
Abe's first two rounds were better than most of Nome
My live notes:
- Mannn, definitely not an upscale atmosphere. Event started late, venue was jam packed, barely any room to move around, not worth it to move and get food or drinks. I was on my feet for basically 8 hours, ate breakfast before we left and nothing else until the sh1t ended at 8pm. Pretty brutal, very exhausting
- Having said that, the crowd was LIVE. Good vibes overall, lots of battle rap fans chopping it up. Tho it got pretty annoying with the randomly hecklers, and cheerleaders, people shouting "GET THAT N1GGA such and such" mid verse. I'm like damn, just let em rap. Verb for example couldnt get his bars off 3rd round, random idiots in the crowd kept trying to roast him
- Nunu was chillin with Drake the whole night
- Weed smoke everywhere, I lost count of how many blunts were lit up. I didn't bring any tree myself but got a contact high just off the strength of the crowd
- Verb vs K Shine - first round was dope, second was a mess, third was atrocious. Shine legit almost caught a fade from hitman. His energy is crazy though. Verb lost the crowd and it got ugly. Just a sloppy battle over all. I think the crowd being restless from the late start time had something to do with it.
- DNA vs Serius Jones was pretty entertaining. Serius second and third had some really dope schemes, the crowd was eating it up. DNA was basic but I enjoyed it never the less. Good battle, to watch live at least.
- Jaz vs Official - Crowd was fukcin heavy with official. Jaz bars were on point, but every round Official just out performed her and beat her at her own game. People were saying 3-0 official, I agree. You could argue she stole the show. The last round dragged a bit, but Official was punching Jaz lights out. Jaz looked cute up there tho
- Clips vs Hollow - I'm suprised by what I'm reading. It felt like Clips won in the building. I gave him the first and third. The crowd response to some of his bars was CRAZY. You can call it gas if you want, I just think the fans fukk with him. The wash button up line was fire. Hollow said some sh1t too. His dude was handing out those "Sike I lied" t-shirts, pretending to be Clips man outside. Funny now to realize now he was a "plant". Really dope angle by Hollow. Seems like this was a better battle live than it was on camera. Hollow's mic was fuked up, it didn't sound right, there was static. So the crowd didn't react as loudly or you couldn't hear what he was really saying. But yea, as dope as Hollow was, if you hear people saying Clips won in the building, they are justified in saying that, trust me.
- Surf vs Roc was DOPE. Bar fest. God damn. The crowd was tired and not even really anticipating another battle, but that sh1t was like a second wind. Probably one of the most even, aggressive, performance heavy battles you'll ever see. I give it to Surf though. He was just on fire. Felt a little rushed at the end, but besides that, perfect way to cap off the night.
- I said what's up to Cortez, Suge, Smack, Hitman, and Clips. Suge just gave me a quick dap, like hes too cool for school. Everybody else was really chill and chopped it up for a second. Saw T-top outside the venue in the beginning too but couldn't say what's up because I wanted to jump on line. Prep, DNA, Nunu and others were around too after the show, it's cool to see everybody outside just bullshyttin.
- A fight broke out between some drunk homies and I think the cops came, I peaced it and went on my way, hit some bars on lextington ave.

I was literally standing right behind the camera man during this. Said whats up to clips. he's mad chill, said he appreciated the love and told me to get home safe
crowd always gasses clips. remember his first vs magic "it will b magic the way i make him disappear" thats the first event i saw live and i was thinking i didnt catch smthg the way the crowd went crazy. I didnt hear magics first that time so wasnt sure but on cam i had magic 3-0.
clips first was trash "a big 9 rondo working out" " mark gasol" (which was stolen from daylyt anyway) "oxycute" (huh?) i get what he meant but its a reach. his first was trash and so was his second. the building is a bunch of simple minded people
