Damn.. Just read the whole exchange... Lol... These nikkas don't give two fukks about a "loss" they know what it is. I hate to see the fans in heated ass debates when the battlers don't care. nikkas, milking the game.
LOL losses stopped mattering long ago. It's a money grab now. Especially for nikkas like Verb. That's why he battles all the time. Only a few top tiers I think still care about their legacy/where they stand. I think Hollow is one, Hitman is another, Surf...
Lux and Mook just want bread. Same with Clips and Verb.
Yup.... Taking advantage of this shyt. And I'm not REALLY mad at them for exploiting it. These leagues gotta do something and take a stand.

Verb & Clips are household names in battle rap 9 times outta 10 one of them is going to be on a major card regardless of their last performances on top of that they both have fanbases that will :cap: no matter what so that hunger and desire to win is gone
There's nothing cool about taking a whole bunch of meaningless battles & losing them. I never understood Clips & Verb doing this shyt, If those 2 managed their career the right way, they can make a huge paycheck off ONE battle instead of taking multiple battles. Those 2 should be up there with Mook/Lux/Hollow, but bad career management.Even if you want to battle frequently, Todd is the guy who does it right. He battles often, but doesn't really over saturate himself like that. He sticks to url, kotd, & df & may occasionally take something outside the big 3 if it's right.

To be honest I have no idea why Verb even takes as many battles as he does. Stopping for at least 4 - 5 months would drive the demand for him more. Allowing him to ask for more money. Rather than him getting stacks everywhere and just being trash.
On that note, I can't fault him for it if he really just wants money...but on the flipside he can't in any way shape or form demand lux. He doesn't deserve it at all. Clips definitely doesn't now either...Man just bullshytted his biggest battle to date. And don't compare it to Daylyt either. Daylyt does not tend to make excuses when shyt goes wrong and clearly goes in when a worthy opponent is in front of him.
Not that I would want to see it but Math has a better shot of battling Lux just off of at least trying most of his battles.
On that note, I can't fault him for it if he really just wants money...but on the flipside he can't in any way shape or form demand lux. He doesn't deserve it at all. Tbh I'm not even sure if a URL crowd in 2015 would appreciate his style that much. Its too wordy. The new casual fans don't fukk with that like they do a Tay Roc type performer, just stating facts. As much as an aura as Lux has I think he could potentially lose the room with the rapid fire shyt. Like he did at total slaughter
Y'all could say I'm crazy but I think it's a good handful of dudes right now that could get a win over lux if they brought their A game. If a talented, hungry underrated "vet" like a JC or Chilla got to make a run at Lux I wouldn't neccesarily bet against them. Of course we'll never see those battles cuz lux would rather keep y'all on his jock speculating than actually jump in the ring and get tested
But please lets dead this whole putting lux and for that matter mook on a pedestal like they are these untouchable battle rap gods. They're stock been inflated because of doo rag era sh1t, so the trick now is too keep a low profile and only take the occasional battle if the price is right. That's branding, not battling. Til these dudes actually prove they can hang consistently with modern top tiers than fukk all that I'm not buying the hype
