i can't remember who asked it but somebody wanted to know why lux is hailed so highly above everybody else....it's pretty simple to explain
Take his 3 rounds vs young miles, just that alone....everything he did in that battle is the blueprint for the sh!t n!ggas in the url do today, that's a fact....not an opinion. He raised the bar for every category in a rap battle, punchlines, metaphors, entendres, wordplay, aggression, humor, wit, delivery, presense. Every current battle rapper knows and more then a couple have acknowledged that. Then add in the nose gesture that everybody ran with, and the rhyme slogan after you announce ya' self.
Then you take a look at his pen game just in that battle, the n!gga was saying sh!t every 2-6 bars that was
. The funny sh!t is that is if those rounds were never heard of, and he said em' against whoever today those 3 rounds is still bodybag material and that was from 5 years ago ma' n!ggas......5 years!. You mean to tell me a battle rapper had sh!t from 5 years ago that could trash just about anybody in the Url today and that don't make you the deadliest n!gga that's done it? C'mon with the bullsh!t y'all lol!!!
Why y'all think nobody wanted problems with Lux bar for bar, nobody was afraid of a mook, or jones, or reed dollaz, or whoever you want to name that is a quote unquote "legend". Why you think everybody say when it pertains to Lux that's when they gotta be on they A+ game?. Why you think Iron ducked him?, why you think Hollow ducked him when he finally got him on the phone last year?
