Lux is one of the best battle rappers, but yeah...this dude is getting overhyped. He did beat Calicoe, but they stretched rounds for him in a timed battle. If Smack would've been fair to Cal, Lux probably loses. So all this talk about Hollow gonna take an L, Lux is on a rampage, etc. etc......premature as hell.

i really want to see him in some adverse situation before i crown him anything

lets be honest, calicoe had no shot to beat lux. cause lux fans could always run to lux being better lyrically in that type of match up.

how would that have been if he was in front of a killer who was laying that shyt on him and saying shyt that had the crowd losing it. half the battle calicoe didnt even battle lux. he dissing everybody else. cal applied no pressure. i want to see what happens with lux when he faced with that

im not even saying lux wont show up. im just saying that night at sm2, if he was in front of a killer, he probably would be dead today.

dudes over hyping a 2-1 victory to a bodybag out of necessity. its not even a top 5 performance this year.

I will say, even though I think Hollow can beat Lux, if Hollow comes like he came against Goodz or Hitman he's gonna get murdered. Because his performance was lackluster even if his lyrics were on point, and as lyrical as Hollow is, he's nowhere near Lux in that department. His advantages are rebuttals, clarity, and humor. He needs to use those to win.

I agree. Different opponents call for different angles. I think Lux needs a Miles type performance against Hollow. Meaning, he needs complex lines but he's also gonna need enough dope "I got that right away" lines to win live.

agree except I think his performance against Goodz was extremely dope but you and CC seem to think it was lackluster so Im sure theres a significant group of fans that feel that way but IDK I think it was dope. vs Hitman I agree he was lackluster as helll

I can respect the first part, wanting to see more before you fully endorse Lux, cool. But not applying the same wait and see to Hollow and downplaying what just happened in the actual battle (No 50) as if Lux wouldn't have beat Calicoe with those rhymes under any circumstance looks like hate. I'm not selling anyone short, I just personally prefer Lux. The short selling is downplaying that ether he gave Calicoe. He broke his spirit toward the end there. [Nas] Look at his face![/Nas]

Maybe even some personals..Who knows what kinda angle he decides to follow.


Then again..Hollow is witty as fukk..and his rebuttal attribution is gonna be a big advantage.
