For those wondering why there isn't no SM5 trailer yet. All the battlers haven't sent in their footage. Chris Unbias shot T-Top trailer over 2 weeks ago. The main hold up is Ms.Hustle. She recently moved to NC and someone has to fly out there to shoot her shyt or pay her to come to NY. Tay Roc also said a couple days ago on twitter he hasn't sent his footage in yet either.

We very well might not get the trailer til under a week before the event.

Props for the info.

Smack and them at least need to post the official card at this point. I appreciate that they wanted to do it together with the trailer but they can't keep holding off at this point if they are waiting on people. Announce the damn card already

And honestly if ms. hustle is causing the delay I would demote that battle to the warm-up or something as a penalty. Can't be fukkin up the momentum like this

That's not fair to official at all. That's the problem. Ppl always say url should do this and that to whoever is fukking up like that doesn't effect the other person in the battle.


Url needs to just man up and handle their business more effectively. You know you need their trailer footage. Put it in the contract that they don't get paid til they have it. Rbe does this

The battlers get their first half when the battle is locked in. There's no other way to do it, especially for a big URL card with top names. So you can't really do anything to force these guys to get their trailer footage in. If you start talking about docking pay, these dudes will just back out and battle elsewhere.

Head Ice has never been a guy the URL invested in, so I always had doubts about that rumor.

Maybe Big T still had a deposit from the Daylyt battle. We know he'd be thirsty to get on the Summer Madness card and he can't be charging all that much. Last time he was active, was Aktive, we have to see what this NWX Big T do.

Ice was saying that he had an argument with Norbes the day that Norbes got punched, so maybe URL was trying to lowball Ice, or had some funny style stipulations in the contract.

In any case, Suge has a multiple battle deal with URL, right? They can't risk him getting punked, clowned or choking up vs Ice. Big T is better fodder for Suge's antics.

That's actually a better matchup.

I would match Wavy with someone like Arsonal

I feel like Math's "Charged Up" video hinted at Ice v Math going down on KOTD. It seems like a no-brainer headliner battle for URL, but Ice just doesn't fukk with Smack URL like that, and vice versa.

But where do they do it? I feel like it would look odd for them to do it out in Canada. At one point I thought KOTD was coming to the East Coast w/ Poison Pen, but I don't know that status on that.

How crazy would it be for them to do it in Cali, possibly even the same venue where Math v Diz went down?

Arsonal v Brizz would be dope, I can't see Smack paying Ars at this point though.

After seeing Tay Roc v Brizz, I'd honestly be cool with Brizz v Wavy.

Brizz proved that he can rock the stage. The improvement from the Verb battle to his performance vs Roc was dramatic imo.

Hustle v Official is the only legit grudge match on the card. It has build-up, it has personal drama, it sells tickets. I totally get why you might not want to see it, but think about how many unique fans that match-up brings.
