Lol, Math is by far the most gassed battler on this site.
You think so? I feel like Math never gets his props in the battle rap world. Most of the youtube comments I read about him are negative, even downright mean. People don't like the guy.
But as far as bars, delivery, flow, consistency, performance, wit... I don't think there's a more well rounded battler. He's the epitome of adapting well from the DVD era to the youtube leagues.
I met the homie too and you can tell he's just a chill, real dude.

Math's main problem in the ring is his voice. He has a lisp, and his voice isn't nearly as bassy as you would expect from a guy his size.
He's a better writer than most "top tier" battle rappers, but you have to go out of your way to pay attention to him. The vast majority of "top tiers" have a voice & delivery that just grabs you. You can tune Math out, pretty easily. That's just not going to happen with Suge, Pat Stay, Head Ice, Calicoe.
Even in the Math/Holla battle, Math's voice is kinda blending in with the effect from mic. But even with the funny mics, Holla's voice is still jumping out at you.
I can see why those who don't have a problem with Math's voice, or who are just used to listening to him rap will rank him very high. He does a really good job of picking his opponents apart. How could anyone say the "You should be called ShowOut, and he should be Hitman" part isn't good writing? Math has a lot of dope concepts.

Hollow is the only top tier with a less appealing voice & delivery than Math. But on the flipside Hollow's voice stands out more, and he's impossible to tune out. John John has a remarkably unmemorable voice too, but his material flows better than Math's.
