Is Danny the first out of town nikka to stand in front of Rex on the big stage and not get booed??:banderas:

And nikkas saying big crowds don't appreciate bars.

I have to point out that the crowd was audibly laughing at Danny through parts of this battle. I, and I expect most of the crowd, was cringing when he said "Bar God." That said, yeah, he got through without getting boo'ed. But that battle was rotisserie'd ass cheeks overall.

Random question - who are the battlers that are most dedicated to their craft? Who works the hardest at making sure each performance is better than the last?

(aka the opposite of Charlie Clips)

I would have to say Chilla and illmaculate. You can tell those dudes stay home at night, writing, re-writing, practicing their performance, and writing some more.

Danja, Chilla, Illmac

Those 3 you can tell work on their craft the most

I would say Danny, but he's not working on his delivery and set ups even tho his dedication is their. He's still the same battler
You could tell the difference between Danja & Danny

Danny was just screaming the best bars he could think of back2back and was hit & miss. He gets a lot of credit for bein able to elevate his pen for Danja between so many battles

But Danja was the one in control of that battle. He was poised, had the setups, angles, delivery and haymakers

Hollow is the only top tier with a less appealing voice & delivery than Math. But on the flipside Hollow's voice stands out more, and he's impossible to tune out. John John has a remarkably unmemorable voice too, but his material flows better than Math's.

Because alot of it isn't his to begin with? :yeshrug:

That line was so dirty. Welcome back to the URL main stage Chilla Jones.

Chilla already has more qoutables than TODD on the URL big stage, talk about it.

Let's also talk about how Danny had several punchlines on the level of the "Brandon Leeway" bar, but set them up so terribly that they aren't nearly as memorable.
He had none but please list them, I need a good laugh

Yeah that whole sequence was dope, other than that I just enjoyed a punchline here and there.
That was the only time where I was taken aback by the lack of reaction.

I've noticed that the URL crowds don't really react to rapid fire patterns like that. That style of rapping very much favors KOTD, hence DNA rapping his best battle in recent memory against Tay Roc and getting no love.

'Died the same day your nephew did' shouldve broke down the building if delivered better.

Yup. His set-up was complete filler, he said some stupid shyt about being "the king of Harlem". You got extorted by a battle rapper from Harlem my guy...

And last time we saw you in Harlem before that, you had on a white tee & a picnic hat, sweating like you just finished up behind the grill. :cook:

How many people vouching for JJDD?

None of the above. :mjlol:

Like someone else on here said, he seems like a really cool dude though. His interviews, his thought process, I totally get how he sees things. And he seems to have a lot of love and respect for the sport.

But when he gets on that stage though :francis:
