You guys gotta realize, Lux is at the age where his age... starts to play a factor. He's not the same dude from the Miles battle, not by a loooooooooong shot. He's very visibly trying to relive his glory years, and lucky for him, people are there to entertain that idea. BUT you tone down all the shenanigans and Lux's "smart" bars (which btw he wasn't doing in the Miles battle, he used to have JUST heat and not all this spherical lyrical shyt).. you tone that shyt down and Clips DESTROYED that dude. Wasn't even close.

There's Lux fans that will argue this to the death with me. But look around at the dudes that really do battle rap and ask them who won. The average opinion will be that Lux lost. Born is right there with you nerd groupies sucking off Lux... but yall are wrong. He's not good right now and he hasn't been for a while.

You're thinking I'm taking up for verb I'm just saying that taking 4 battles in a month for like what 50k total maybe ? And having two rounds per battle is no Different in terms of bullshyt than having 6 months and getting 80k for one battle and being trash vs mook and ok vs clips

All I've been saying is while I'd be interested in the battle, mainly because Verb is a good salesman, I don't feel Verb has been good enough for nearly 2 years to criticize anyone when he's having debatable battle with Ah Di Boom.

Even when he killed Swave he wasn't that good, Swave just sucked but Verb wasn't saying nothing OD.

also I think verb might get washed by real deal cause he has qp and surf near those battles and its in PA, he gotta really show out against surf but even qp to me he needs to do well

The main one being that Verb makes almost as many excuses as Clips about why his performances are garbage, when Lux got killed by Mook, we haven't heard one excuse from him, he didn't try to flip it like he really won, he took his L, claimed it immediately, and kept it pushing. I don't speak for everybody, but I think that's one of the main reasons Lux didn't get as much slack for his performance as these other guys get.

And the money thing is a little irrelevant for what you're speaking on. I think you guys are just thinking in battle perspective but aren't using any business sense. Nobody is paying these guys because they're "nice". They're paying Lux the most money because he's filling the building and shining light on the event. From the looks of it this is one of URL's most successful events, and the only battle people were really talking about was Lux/Clips (on that large scale level, I know Roc/Cal was anticipated too). The biggest battle in battle and URL history? Lux carried that shyt. The only one of these "GOAT vs. GOAT" type matchups that lived up to the hype? Lux was part of that. UW getting shut down? Word to Lux there too. Anyway, my point being the only person that needs to be bytching about Lux paydays is Arsonal.

the less money he makes (verb) the more my argument is furthered imo and exactly i agree with you on the business end which what is a bigger match for lux than verb, at least give an alternative, and everyone bytches about payday its like in sports, you pay someone 25 mill and theyre batting .200 you gonna bytch more than if its a scrub making 1.2 , lux carried what a mediocre battle with clips ? and lux didnt get slack cause nikkaz worship him its the same reason nobody booed for one of the worst chokes ever and same reason he can ramble for 3 minutes with no punch and we dont hear a peep but someone slightly mispronounces a word and its a minute of boos, thats the definition of being a dikkrider
