No one cared to see another mook battle after the iron solomon battle and that battle was considered a waste of Smacks 25K when Lux did less with more. No one cared for him until that total slaughter throwaway battle until he beat lux. All mook is doing is following Cassidys Clay Davis scheme of rainmaking some sucker with the money.

All the biggest names in battle rap want to battle him. The celebrities who know battle rap, mention his name first. Stop saying "no one cares" because logic will tell you that isn't the case. I don't like the Solomon battle. I think Mook Lux 2 has very little replay value. But guess what? I'm not the only battle fan on the planet. Drake almost battled him, you have to think about what that says about Mook's status. If he gets the payday he wants, then what is there to debate about?
Are we going to diss him for not talking 70k if he gets 100k?

Thank you. Cats on this site somehow believe that they are the only fans of battle rap on the planet or some shyt. Just because you PERSONALLY might think Mook is wack (hell, even I kinda do) doesn't mean other people aren't checking for him. There's a reason he's the guy the biggest star in hip-hop was talking about battling... Drake wasn't talking about battling Lux or Clips or Surf or Math (:heh:) As far as actually being known for battling, Mook (or Lux) is probably the most well known in mainstream circles. Guys like Surf, Arsonal, DNA, Math, Clips, etc., have been chasing the Mook battle for a long time, not vice versa. He's probably the only top tier battler without a clear, non-debatable loss (hell, I personally think he lost to Millz, Lux, and Jones but I can't act like there aren't just as many, if not more, people who think he won those battles). Mook is clearly more business savvy than most of these battle rappers. I got no problem with somebody trying to get the most money out of THEIR living/career.

And I could see somebody "ducking" somebody if it was reasonable... if Mook was gonna duck anybody, he would have ducked Lux last year. Nobody is gonna duck half ass Clips, or 2 round per battle Hollow, or average ass Arsonal, or irrelevant Math Hoffa. :camby:

People want to battle mook because he's the easier "legend" to beat outside of Lux. People think that they can 3-0 mook thats why he gets called out way more than lux. Mook ran with a joke pic from drake and tried to bait him into a real battle that drake was going to do on the fly; not for 100K. Mook isn't worth 100K because theres no matchup that will make sense, who do you put mook up against after you shell out 100K on him to where you'll make that money back? He doesn't have the mystery surrounding him like cassidy or is a big enough name for a non battle rap fan to tune in. Unless another eccentric billionaire with more money than common sense jumps in the game, that 70K is most likely the best he's going to get.

Cal could have pressed the issue, but for whatever reason Cal wants to rematch him so he didn't.

Can we stop using Drake as an argument for why Mook deserves at least 100k pls? Only reason Drake knows Mook because he's a fan of battle rap.

IMO, Mook can't hold out forever or he is ducking. He's not ducking any specific battler, but he's ducking reality. If he doesn't battle for the next five years because the bread ain't right........... then doesn't that kinda show his stock ain't worth that much in the battle rap market? Even with a potential DRAKE vs MOOK headlining........ still nobody wanna touch that, I wonder why that is. Drake is like, do I buy a Bugatti this month or battle Mook? Hmmm, Bugatti it is.

If Mook is that in demand, how come the leagues can't find the investors? Even Mook himself can't seem to find one. Mook should be walking around with his own $100K investor that is ready to go, and the problem should be finding the opponent that would double or triple that amount.

For the record, I don't think Mook is wack. I was at Total Slaughter and he stole the show.

He's not as good as he thinks he is, but he can definitely entertain the crowd for three rounds on a good day.

Is he worth $100K? Hell no. And until somebody actually pays him that, you cant tell me otherwise
