I don't know how serious we can take Daylyt, but dude also said if he pays Lux $90K, then Lux gotta do whatever he say. They gotta battle in the middle of a desert, naked or whatever. Day is talented lyrically/creatively, but yeah I can see why Lux be like

Daylyt lost clearly to Chilla. It's not just about being clever, it's also about your material sounding good in a rhyme form, and being relevant to your opponent. That mm-kay shyt was traaaassh. That's not battle rap, that's some other shyt.

Dude shut up. Theres no way you say Chilla clearly won unless you're a Day hater, and vice versa. You and a few others on here are the only nikkas saying Day clearly lost lol. That battle probably is just as even as JC vs Chilla. Hell Chilla got zipped up in the third with the RPS shyt if anything.
All true. Mook may have had a poor music career (he did sign with Ruff Ryders though), but you also have to take into consideration that battle rap today is bigger than ever. At the time when Cass was approached by Mook, shyt was still mostly on DVD's for die-hard fans, never reaching fanbases like one can today accomplish with YouTube and other channels.
Mook is a star in a genre that has been growing over the years; he is known and respected by his battle peers and actual rap stars. He may be "just" a battle rapper, but I think his status (in the rap game) right now is not much different than the one of Cass. Hits or no hits.
My point is, just like Cass, Mook considers himself to be a brand that comes with a price, he has been smart with the choices he's made, hasn't oversaturated the market and doesn't acknowledge the ones beneath him just to get a couple of dollars. He said it best in a recent interview, it's nice to do it for the culture, but at the end of the day, they have to get paid as well. I'm not a big fan of Mook, but I respect his hustle.

YES. lol y'all kill me. It's literally the ONLY reason why any fans are still requesting the battle. They don't like Mook, and want to see how Mook responds to that whole situation being talked about.
There's nothing else left to this match-up besides that. Math isn't close to Mook in status anymore, Math is no longer the URL golden boy, Mook doesn't roll with Tone Trump anymore (who Math beefed with), there is no more Dot Mob/"NYB" beef, and the game is so much bigger than NY battlers who appeared on Smack DVD now. Whatever hype there is for this battle revolves around a 4-5 year old altercation where Math got the upper hand.
Be truthful, you want Math to have another "This is how Brooklyn do, every time I look at you" moment, and you want to see Mook feeling ashamed & defeated. That's cool, just be honest about it.
