Clips vs. Lux was far better than Clips vs. Hollow. Clips vs. Hollow is completely unwatchable after Hollow's first. They were both horrendous.

Hollow and Clips is TERRIBLE. Hollow's first is fire but there's a lot of dull spots that hurt it. Clips first is average. Hollow's second is wack but better than Clips. Hollow's third is god awful, Clips is okayish. Battle is unwatchable. That's almost universally accepted.
Lux/Clips is just an okay battle but I don't have to skip any rounds. There's no cringeworthy rounds. Hollow and Clips is full of cringeworthy moments.

Clips vs. Hollow was trash after you get past Hollow's first round. Lux vs. Clips wasn't a great battle either, but it more failed to live up expectations than just being bad. Clips had no second round against Hollow, Hollow bullshytted his third round, Clips had a good third round in that battle but after Hollow shytted on his style it simply didn't have the type of effect it could have. Hollow's second was decent to good as well, but it's not something I'd wanna rewatch.

Despite Clips freestyling and failing in the third round, he clearly came much more prepared against Lux than he did against Hollow. Lux had three good rounds, it's a lot of people expected God to rhyme that night.
Neither battle lived up to the hype they had, and I blame Clips for it. Because when Lux and Hollow battled each other we got one of the greatest battles in history, one of the only top tier clashes to live up and exceed its hype. But then when each of them gets Charlie, both fights are underwhelming.
Hollow had a dope first and second, Clips had a dope third. You're really sleeping on Hollow's second - the angle he took about copyrighting Clips own sh1t was very good.
So 1/2 the battle (3 of 6 rounds) was above average. The other half was average, with maybe one truly weak half round thrown in (Clips second). But everything is pretty well spread out.
Clips vs Lux OD'd on fukkery. There was no cohesion, it was an hour of Lux rambling, Clips being all over the place and the crowd was extra sh1tty.
I'm really surprised to see anybody rank Clips/Lux over Clips/Hollow
I never thought it was straight up basura the way you're saying it, just falls off heavily as it goes along. I can agree that Lux/Clips is a bit higher quality from both rappers.. maybe.
edit: I think more about it, Hollows second grew on me. Not sure anything Clips did grew on me though.

Hollow's first was good, but there's a lot of dull moments or lines that really missed. and when Hollow misses it comes off very corny. His second was a good angle but it lacked a good punch, cohesiveness and delivery. There was no impact to it. Okay you took Clips' slogan and made money off of him and he's dumb. Good angle, just wasn't executed well.

I thought Clips was way more consistent in the Lux battle. He didn't have a "bad" round. The Hollow battle he had 2 okay rounds and 1 terrible one.
I'd rather Watch Mook vs. Solomon
Yea I think we watchin' through a different pair of glasses. It's almost physical repulsion with Mook/Solomon for me.

Lets just say BOTH battles were underwhelming, and the common demoninator seems to be Clips 
It was an exaggeration lol but I really can't watch cringe worthy things. Things that come off really corny and awkward it physically makes me uncomfortable. And that's the entire Hollow/Clips battle after the first round
