Low key kind of pumped about this KOTD card this weekend. Gjonaj, Bigg K, and QP sounds like potential to me.

Lets just say BOTH battles were underwhelming, and the common demoninator seems to be Clips
You can say that, but Lux's rounds vs Clips have more replay value than Hollow's rounds vs Clips.
And Clips was more entertaining (I didn't say better) vs Lux than he was vs Hollow. His material was more memorable (whether good or bad), his antics made the battle a more engaging watch, and for the first time we got to see Clips completely discombobulated.
The tension between Clips & Lux is kinda underrated. A lot of people claim that it's a turn off, but that shyt is something that sticks with you afterwards. We can easily make lists of what we felt each guy did right, and what each guy did wrong.
It wasn't just Lux vs Clips, they each had a team. You know Lux had his team, with cameos from the paperwork guy & his sister/manager
. Clips had DNA & his brother helping out, & I think I even saw Beasley advising Clips a little 
, but I might need to watch again.Clips v Lux can potentially affect how some top tiers approach battles.
Thank you my nikka. Not gonna get into the debate of which battle is better. But i was really sitting here thinking to myself how dont they fukk with Hollows second vs Clips? Its a solide round and far from wack imo.
Clips freestyle after that was one of the worst ever. Might be top 5 WOAT. So Hollow says he stole Clips "slogan" and made money off it. Clips' reply? Pretend to set up a "sike I lied" bar only to remember he doesn't own it anymore.... How is this clever, funny or a rebuttal at all?!
Yeah, Hollow's 1 and 2 vs Clips is straight.

Hollow's 2nd vs Clips is kinda boring. That round did not flow well at all. A couple of clever parts delivered awkwardly, but not much worth quoting or rewinding except the "no equity in views in mentions" scheme. The "sike I lied" t-shirts saved the whole round.

Exactly. People are giving it too much credit. Angles are only as good as the delivery. The way he penned it was very sloppy and the build up to it was wack.
the perfect build up to an angle is Hitman's second vs. Ars.
If y'all think I'm hating, just watch Hollow's 2nd vs Clips again.
The whole battle just felt lazy on both sides. That battle was built up over such a long period of time, and both of those guys got up there and rapped like there was nothing at stake.
Meanwhile, No one thought Lux/Clips made a lot of sense 2-3 months prior to it happening. But even if it wasn't a "great" battle, it turned out to be a serious undercover grudge match. By the way Lux & Clips were acting, who knows if they EVER liked one another.

Honestly cant say i rewatched Hollow vs clips more then maybe 2 or 3 times and i probably wont ever again.
But im not gonna sit here and act like Lux vs Clips was that much better. After maybe one more watch i will never probably never see it again. Yes they had tension between them. But due to Clips being so much ass and Lux being meh compared to his others perfomances it was a mediocre battle at best. Not even to speak about the fukkery and cringeworthy moments.

Not that it's the most important stat in the world, but Lux/Clips has already passed Clips/Hollow in views.
Clips/Lux just gives you more to talk about. Just look at how much bigger the discussion thread is for that battle than it is for Hollow/Clips. Look how big the SM5 discussion thread is.
