Lux is the best best rapper in battling and the most creative one when it comes to wordplay and punchlines, he's "too on point like a vikings helmet". He is also the most popular one out right now after that "weak" performance.

You don't know how Lux will rap though. Different opponents different performance.

The Calicoe battle was perfect for who he was battling, the history. It was a story. His story with Hollow is different.

You never know how or what crowds will react to.

Lux will always have better bars than anyone he battles which is why it's gonna be damn near impossible to beat him on video.

i have seen hollow go wild in every crowd imaginable.

lux looked like shyt in his home field. considering it was his home field. like if lux did that on the road and recovered like that i would give him more props

but he was at the crib.

so i have more to lean on that hollow will kick lux ass on the road.

you really never can say how a crowd will act.

but you have to admit that lux being in ny saved him and helped him. and you have to have a little doubt that if lux is getting his oswalt bates on in any round on the road, the crowd wont be so forgiving.

nikkas forgot that Lux actually rapped before the Calicoe battle it seems. You may not like his Calicoe rounds, (excluding the 3rd, if you aint feeling that you're opinions are irrelevant) but don't think for a 2nd that Lux can't body every single one of these nikkas if battled the "regular" way, including my man Hollow who I fukks with heavy.

Look at his sway freestyles...that's recent shyt. That nikka is lyrically on a different plateau right now compared to EVERY nikka in battling. He is one of the best lyricists to rap period. None of these nikkas are beating him bar for bar and Lux ain't no slouch when it comes to performance either. If he freestyled more he would be the perfect battle rapper imo.

Saying Lux may lose in the room but not on the video makes no sense. It's also why I don't give a fukk about anyone's opinions in the room during a battle. Obviously the more dumbed down punchlines are going to get love in a room, they are quicker to catch on to, it doesn't mean they are better bars. The crowd didnt even catch the "deep in they heart / The 3 from the arc wouldn't risk (wrist) getting snapped with Larry Bird" line during the Lux/Cal battle and that shyt was disgusting, Lux even looked at em after like wow yall aint get that, smh. Every single one of these battles should be judged after watching the videos a few times, unless it's a clear body bag after the first viewing like the Lux vs. Miles joint. This is why most people rather wait for the video instead of going to events. It's cool to be in that environment while it's happening, but you get a better appreciation of what both MC's did after watching video footage a few times.

This is why I doubt Hollow could beat a "regular" version of Lux in any venue. You want proof? look at all of Lux's battles/freestyles. Look at what Lux did to nikkas on 106 compared to what Hollow did in the same environment, night and day shyt. Hollow ain't fukking with that kind of work. It's crazy though, because If Lux didn't come back Hollow would be the best out in my opinion.
