There's a reason when Rain was semi interested in battling, it was Daylyt. Daylyt is the safest "top tier" battle rapper to face. He loses damn near every battle.

You put Daylyt in a "pen" battle & it's a stylistic nightmare for him.

I do feel on the music side of things, he has potential. I think he could be a really dope ghostwriter.

Daylyt wants NO parts of battling Rain. Rain will ruin his whole "crazy pen" facade. Daylyt's bars are entertaining, but at the end of the day most of it is too cutesy to win a battle outside of KOTD West. And obviously Rain isn't worried about any antics, he might do some real d!ckhead shyt if Daylyt does antics. Rain might not only ruin Daylyt's "crazy pen" facade, he might ruin Daylyt's "crazy" facade as well.

Not sure if there's any other big name battler that Rain could hang in with as easily. On the flipside, Daylyt could eclipse Rain's career as a rapper within 2 years with the right moves.

Day is capable of beating anybody or atleast making the battles highly debatable if he actually attack his opponents more, that's his main fukk up, it ain't a one man cipher jackass, beat the nygga in front of you.

Sidenote: I hate that fast flow he uses too....that the crowd always go crazy for smh, that's when he REALLY say a whole lotta nothin

In a rematch in 2016 I'd put my bank account on Roc.

The pocket tap would be the worst thing to happen to Suge. Roc would just be barking on him the next two rounds non-stop.

"THIS MY shyt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" :angry::angry::angry:

I legit laugh at Roc like 50% of the time when he gets all wild on stage. His persona still comes off as awkward or forced or something. The bars are sometimes cringeworthy, especially when he tries to scheme or do something with even a degree of complexity. I guess Roc has near no replay value to me.

Sug on the otherhand (this year) has stuck to a formula that works, and somehow, despite his bars being simple, they have a high replay value and the grimy shyt ages well. On the critical side tho I will say that potato bars, fetty wap bars, throwing his 419 pounds around, and those same movie references aren't going to last forever with Sug.

I'd consider TBZ about a year ahead of the curve on getting tired of battlerappers who do the same shyt (think Verb/Clips.. we've been collectively tired of them since the start of this year at least). If Sug dips in those same 2-4 bags on the big stage, he'll start losing appeal.

What battles makes sense for Magic at this point?
Nothing. His huge lack of enthusiasm and preparation has been the norm for too long. Any battle he steps into feels like a waste. Bodying Magic at this point isn't even something to brag about. The battlerap jury is out and they all know that homeboy is a shell of a battlerapper who was fairly 1 dimensional to begin with.

At this point you Roc haters have made up your minds before the battles even happen :manny:

Roc/Surf and Roc/Cal were both heavy replays for me.
