mook is all name and he had more to do with the building of smack dvd, and nothing to do with the building of the url, which is putting hundreds of thousands in smack pocket. cal was right, they the ones made smack rich.
so based on that, how can them dudes not think they deserve maybe even more than mook? these current dudes watched url go from a league that was only getting 100-200 people in a room to now they can get 3-4k in a room. cant really blame them for wanting more
now lux feeling like he apart of that and he looking at the fact his showing even with the choke was 10x what the hell mook brought. i would be looking at smack too like uh where my 20k breh?
Brehs..I dont condone this diva behavior either..But Lux performance transcended the battle rap game.
And it was far from a perfect one..
He shattered the URL youtube views record, he knows his next battle will generate even more buzz and attention.
These dudes are business men and the way the battle genre has grew over the years, you can almost feed your family with 3 or 4 battles a year.
That's assuming they get like 10-15k with every battle.
Still tho..asking for anything beyond that is ridiculous.
7.5-10k per battle should be max right now imo..

mook messed it up by broadcasting what he got paid and what everybody else got paid. that was some ass hole shyt to the fullest. now considering the fact that lux did better, and from the audio serious jones did better plus you have guys like hollow, ill, rex, clips, calicoe, big t, hitman concieted, x factor, who can all make the same case to why they should be paid what mook got, its just jacked up all the way around. i mean really what does mook have over them, they right there with twitter followers, they mixtapes probably doing better than mook even with him on ruff ryders and again they helped build url, not mook.
