good thing for this battle, i was worried shiit was getting commercial for a second with all the pub sm2 got, we dont need Puff, Busta, and all these regular rappers thinking they could fucck with this battle shiiit like Meek Mill. This shiiit is still raw unlike actual hip hop music. Keep it that way.

i totally co-sign the need to keep battle rap in essence "raw and uncut" but don't knock diddy tho.....he was the 1st one to co-sign smack in the beginning, diddy and smack actually looked out for each other if you look at the big picture with the first battle to premiere on smack dvd jae millz vs sire castro go watch that footage, and you'll know diddy has always had appreciation for the battle culture

Even on the 1st making the band with e. ness, babs etc. etc.

he made them battle each other, and even set up rules for each one

and don't even get me started on the e. ness vs jae mills battle
i remember the episode when diddy called ness the night before, like yo you better have some bars on deck because you battlin' tomorrow night!. The illest shyt of it all is that diddy judged straight down the middle and was the 1st to introduce the notion even on camera that if you choke or don't execute your round perfectly and stumble you lose that round.....clearly.....no debating

Diddy is the ultimate sell out. Diddy is actually a guy that prefers bars. We're talking about a guy that prefers raw hiphop, but just tries to make music that will make him money. It's all business for him. I don't see how this is any different.
