He lost to O-Red & Bmagic despite both of them stumbling.

Bmagic's little stumbles gave justification for nyggas to say it was debatable.

Not so much with O-Red

O-Red actually destroyed Rum Nitty pretty bad. I wouldn't be mad if someone gave him the round he choked in. Thats how much better he was then Nitty. Spud was right in saying it was a 2-1 bodybag.

Nitty has shown a clear trend in losing to top guys. I have not seen the Arsonal battle nor do I have the interest.

There's actually more interesting match ups for Roc. Still not sure what the obsession is over this.

Breh we know you hate westcoast rappers and I dont even care about Nitty but you come off bitter about him getting some shine. If Roc wants to battle him and URL wants to lock it then whats the prob :manny:

The crowd will 3-0 Nitty btw. :patrice:

Was also going to post this. Despite me enjoying Nitty's bars more, I have a tough time seeing him overcome NY's fan favorite barking and overheating on stage.

He is not Pat Stay.

Is it crazy I think there should be a JC vs Chilla rematch?

Small room, no mics, basically just a 2016 version of their PG battle.

I know rehashes aren't always a good thing but I have a feeling it would be really dope, in its own right if nothing else. Especially if both of them have plenty of prep time.

What does TBZ think?

Nah breh it would never live up to even half of what the first battle was. Its bound to disappoint. Just let us cherish the first battle and leave it at that. No need to fukk up that legacy

There isn't enough incentive for both guys to put their best foot forward. Let's look at the rematches we have seen thus far

Shotty v Arsonal - most people felt like Ars won the first, Ars didn't have much to gain from the rematch besides money.

Math v Rex - Money grab, they were clearly cool at that point & the rounds were too playful.

Lux v Mook - Money grab. Mook still came to win, but Lux showed up in full money grab mode and it cost him "Yup yup, I got a new cut and I'm acting up".

So let's analyze a Chilla v JC rematch

Chilla v JC - No real rivalry between the two anymore, and neither guy stands to gain financially or status wise from the rematch. Both parties are still fighting to get their just due, and nobody is going to open a Brinks truck to book the rematch. Conceivably they might both see it as a waste of good bars.

Why are we rushing to assume NYC/Smack crowd will be biased against Rum if he faces Tay Rock? Wasn't the NYC crowd just jumping for joy over his bars? Anyone who has gone to URL events has seen the type of love B Magic gets out here, Rum Nitty might be the guy to fill that void.

I think of it as less bias against Nitty and more bias/familiar with Roc. I think it's safe to say Roc sells tickets, and fans show up wanting to hear him bark. Same time, I don't see Nitty getting boo'ed off GP like Sno, JJDD (often), or Rex.

It sounds like it could be cool, but the first one was such a classic that even an incredible battle might be overshadowed. When they battled that day, it was kind of a battle of "who are these nikkas?"

I really would have liked them to be on this 2on2 card though.

JJDD said he's either 5-0 or 4-1 on his last URL battles

Roc
Wavy
Prep
Verb
Reed

thoughts?

Cortez said he's either 9-2 or 10-1 on URL and hasn't taken a CLEAR L

X- clear win
Hitman -edged win
Marv - haven't watched
iLL- haven't watched
Roc- haven't watched
Tec 9- haven't watched
JJDD- haven't watched
Rex- don't remember and don't plan to watch again
Cyssero- clear win
Uno- apparently a clear win
Chilla- waiting...

Craig Lamar is no longer on SDH

Vaultez is right, no clear losses there. Unfortunately not much as memorable as his performance vs Hitman. His performance vs John John performance was pretty dope, so you should watch that one. But they did that one on SXSW or something, so it looked weird.
