I been reading through the thread and I don't see how guys think Philly rappers can't do the battle thing. It's like some of Y'all are too younger to remember that all these URL guys started battling with random gun lines to each other. So What's so different about the Philly guys that they can't adapt just like everyone else? nikkas know we got the best rappers plus this is one hating ass city we had whole dvds with Reed and had doing just what URL does.


Am I missing something?

i just heard that battle rap arena with reed, surf is a annoying nikkka but he was right tho.

reed or alot of these other dudes wan't even worried about url or battle rapping until mook came out bragging about that money he was getting, and lux got that star treatment. now all the guys who did this shyt in the dvd era wanna make a comeback at the same damn time.

i was making the same point about 50 pages ago

these dudes quit and went diva as if they were too big for battle rap

then the surf, big t, verb, ill, hitman, hollow, math, t rex, calicoe etc of the world literally take url to the top of battle rap as they started a far 2nd behind grindtime, and now these dudes come back step into what these guys already built and reaping the benefits of it. surf def has a point. i been making that point for months.
