Lets not act like he had a fair shot,look at hitman vs johnjohn when hitman asked the crowd was john better than verb.He was better than Rex lyrically but Rex out performed him with average ass lyrics he wouldn't have beat no top tier guy with. If you put both of their lyrics on paper verbs will look better.

Nah like I said,verb isn't a punchliner, his strength is that rapid fire scheme flow but his last few battles he's been trying do punchlines. The verb that body bagged hollow and the verb now are two different people
