Quoting all of these just to bring it back to conversation. I think Mike P. is creative with angles and wordplay more than he is with just straight up punches. He hasn't faced someone who can outdo him on that yet. I think Real Deal could do it. I think if Daylyt wanted to, like when he brought up his last time was Poulice/Police, he could've gone further with that angle but didn't in the 3rd round.

As far as the Trez battle goes, I can't call it between him and Mike P. I'm a big fan of good rebuttals and Trez so far, shows how to rebuttal well in this newer era. I think Mike P. is a different kind of writer, too, which could overshadow what Trez rebuttals. Overall, I think this battle will be good.

Mike P. vs. Brizz Rawsteen would be good but I think that's one of those Born Legacy match ups you would see happen later on this year.

What were Mike Ps great angles? He didnt have any of those against Ave, Tink or Daylyt. That isnt his strong point at all.

He has good bars though. But angles? Nah.

That third round about marketing yourself as a battle rapper against Ave (I think) was dope as fukk. The way he flipped the whole "I don't need URL" shyt against Daylyt in the beginning was cool. There's a few. I didn't say he was the greatest at angles but he doesn have them.

My nikka, you don't agree with a lot of shyt I say, anyway. So what else is new?

Mike P's third round vs Ave was fire. His angle about Ave being just another punchline dude with no personality was fire and spot on.

I get it though. Sometimes I give people creativity points, not realizing that it just doesn't resonate with the audience. Mike P's whole "I'm marketable, you're just regular" angle may have been too presumptuous. It's like "slow down bruh, you're not Pat Stay". You don't have any special moves. You do what everyone else does, you just practice a little harder. I don't see this new audience you claim to be attracting. I don't really wonder what your everyday experience is like. I don't think you would be doing this if it was still a street corner thing, and I don't see you getting hyped by the KOTD fans.
