You seem to be giving TODD the benefit of the doubt as far as how he does business.
Has he earned that? What about it makes you feel like letting him come down there will benefit that scene?
It's not just the contracts, he's been in other situations where he's been accused of doing bad business. When TODD started Bullpen, he partnered up with a guy whose claim to fame in battle rap is doing bad business. Now TODD had a falling out with that guy, and dude is managing Trez and doing his own Atlanta events. It seems like TODD has Atlanta locked down, but time will tell, because he's not trying to bring top tier dudes to Bullpen anymore. He wants the cards to be all his guys, or another low cost option like QOTR v Bullpen. What does he offer those DMV guys, if he has no intention of paying them? They already have like 3-4 respected leagues going out there.
I'm not jacking all the threats, but I rock with the fact that the DMV has united like this. It's like if Philly dudes actually got along.
If I'm being real about it, I can name a handful of conflicts I've personally been in with DC/DMV dudes, simply because they were tired of NYC dudes trying to go out there and live it up, talk crazy to them about their style and choice of music, fukk their bytches, hustle etc.
The culture is so different, but historically a lot of NYC dudes are back and forth out there, whether it be at the HBCU's, big events, or just on some street money shyt.
There's always been a mutual disrespect for as long as I know. So in a way these dudes wouldn't be real to me, if they let Bullpen come out there.

the slouch socks and Madness gear. i avoided all that. nowadays its more so foams or Nike Boots still. i had to avoid the trends here. except for the New Balances.
