The closest lux has gotten to battling a guy who can match him lyrically is hollow, and the result, we got a classic.

That is why I don't mind jc, verb, b dot, rum nitty, guys like that to start throwing they names in the hat to battle lux. Don't mean the battle will happen even this year but it puts them on a course and if they can stand tall and step they games up understanding that what comes at the end of that level is a lux battle, we could see the best from them for the next year or so then get a classic battle down the line with lux in there.

My issue with some of yall is you get insulted when someone dares challenges lux. In battle rap you can't put people in that box. Lux has been one of the few old era guys to come in today and have good showings. You place him in that box and you get what you get, a battle that will more than likely be a bad one, vs some damn ars. Next battle will be some more bullshyt like him battling dizaster or Jae millz smh. Going to kotd and battling iron Solomon
Don't nobody want to see that shyt. Lux vs jc, lux vs verb, lux vs hell even tay roc got more potential to be a damn classic than just continuing to align lux with names connected to old smack era.

The problem with this statement is your dismissing all the other nikkas that challenged lux that fans were more accepting of.

Ayeverb challenged lux and the fans understood. Goodz and lux keeps getting brought up and the fans are more understanding. Hell even daylyt didn't get the backlash jc is getting. Lux is my goat and I've been pushing for lux vs chilla Jones for like 4 years now.

So it's not about "oh nobody can challenge lux " ...jc is just not that nice and he doesn't do well against top competition.....wash tayroc badly then call out lux and I bet you get a better response from the fans...wash clips badly and I bet you get a better response from the fans...wash Ave badly and I bet you get a better response.

Let's keep it real, we've never seen JC this cocky EVER. And it's all because fans got him beating chef trez which is why hes getting hate and had to do an hour blog defending himself.....it's sad because it's not even JCS fault...YALL DID THIS to him.

And it kills me when nikkas discredit lux while simultaneously begging to battle him. Ayeverb did this shyt too...if lux ain't that nice then why you want to battle him so bad? Smh lux doesn't even talk shyt..He just says he'll battle whoever the fans wanna see him battle and keeps it movin

Alright, I finally got all the way through Battle Truth vs Rome & Sun God. Obviously if you're done with that whole saga, don't read below.

Rome vs Battle Truth is hard to call because Rome was killing him for awhile, then I fell asleep & didn't go back to it until this morning.

There had to be more than 3 rounds, because Battle Truth got the last two clearly. He killed Rome on the DMV blog "You control the content" angle. Rome lacks so much in the way of street smarts, it's scary. And a lot of hip-hop media people are like that. They can be like that, because they aren't the ones who get beat up, shot, locked up, etc. It's the artists who catch the L's. A big reason why I even listen to Battle Truth, is that he has way more street smarts than the other bloggers. Then after that round, he got Rome again because Rome was in denial about having an advantage through being the water boy for the DMV battlers & being affiliated with Norbes/The War Report. Rome was killing Battle Truth in the beginning, but was it just that one "What do you do for battle rap" talking point? I want to believe there were other talking points, so I guess I'll have to go back to it. But it might have been one round, with BT doing the equivalent of the Cyserro choke vs Bishop Brigante. So I can't call BT vs Rome. And it's going to be difficult to re-listen to the part where Rome was dominating & Truth was rambling.

Battle Truth beat Sun God clearly, right after going at it with Rome. That's not even up for debate. He cuts that one short, because he has to mediate a REAL LIFE SITUATION. We don't even know if guys like Rome DMV & Sun God have the social skills to address a room full of people in real life.

Battle Truth redeemed himself a bit, but it was ugly at first. He's gotta stop calling Piperboy "Pipe" though.

The fact that Rome uploaded the direct threats at TODD was a bit disturbing. You have to edit that out. The fact he uploaded that makes me weary of him.

Lux is the pretty much the dream battle for all "pen" guys, therefore no surprise JC wants to battle him.

However, unless a promoter is actually going to pay these guys to battle, it is a pointless conversation, which is why I pretty much stay out of these conversations. This same hype occurred after Chilla destroyed Prep.

You guys should know battle rap is a business by now. Who is really going to step in and make a Loaded Lux vs JC battle? It's not happening.

Also, the coli and the internet just have a certain fondness for JC. I clearly remember prior to the Arsonal battle stressing that he NEEDED to show us something in that battle. He got bodybagged. He clearly has a trend of not being consistent against top tier battlers.

Lol damn I forgot about the ars battle. I think that was the last straw for me. Ars wasn't even good and he won easily. Jc just looks silly talking that cocky shyt to someone whose bigger than him.
