I'll say this much. O-Red's 3 rounds for Showoff are the coldest 3 rounds I've heard this year, even WITH the choke in the 2nd. I haven't even revisited the Ave battle yet.

• It was O Red that put the stealing angle out there in their battle.
Before O Red, Ave didn't have any chink in his armour. Suge simply campaigned with that angle.
I don't even know if corny is the way to describe him, because Danny Myers is a guy I sometimes look at as "corny" and Mickey isn't in that same group. Mickey has that college professor thing to him, where he comes off slightly condescending & douchey in every conversation he participates in.
I've followed his career since the beginning, and he's always had that thing where it seemed like he was only rapping to impress himself. Lupe is in the same vein in regards to being mega talented and aloof, but Lupe positioned himself as a man of the people, a voice of the voiceless. Wale is another guy from that same era that fits the mold, but Wale always seemed to have a record playing on the radio.
