Said that same night Rex told Verb put money up and we can battle til the sun comes up and Verb took SB instead because SB had already battled and was terrible. He said Verb ain't want no smoke with Rex that night. I believe him

He also said those bars vs Miles singlehandedly lifted lyricism in battlerap. (I been sayin this, but it was cool to hear him say it for the new fans)

I finally listened to Cortez and JJDD on AFM. Diz keeps making moves that is making me more and more give up on him. I get what happened with Mook for Bodied because he priced himself out, once again, on a project. But Cortez? Cot damn man. Its not like Cortez charges crazy high for anything and people go at him for bullshyt. He should have been in the movie and given some compensation. Damn Diz...I can't give you the benefit of the doubt on that one. You two already battled and should have just kept shyt cool and more progressive.

But I will say, I never understood why Cortez switched crews. Even though I see what he means, I did always wonder that shyt with what CAPS was saying with NYB and Team Homi.

Cortez didn't even elaborate much to give me a reason that Diz had him blackballed from the movie. He literally said he was in LA to battle Bigg K and he didn't get a call while they were filming. Why is he entitled to a call? Then he said he got a call towards the end and the money wasn't there.

I'm curious how much influence Dizaster actually had with this movie for guys to feel Diz shut them out.

Lux put fear in everybody with that performance. That's not an opinion, that's just a battle rap fact.

A person could bash Lux past 5 performances....say he overrated, say he not that good. Cool...but that Lux in blackstar ain't to be fukked with. Battle rappers know that. A lot of people who don't really care that much for Lux might not fully understand.

I remember Mickey said when they were at that battle event in Philly (When Mook beat Young Hot) Budden was there and said "I'll kill everybody in here" and then Lux walked by and Budden was like "Except for him....I'm not battling him".
