What exactly was the issue with what JayBlac said about Surf? He IS the Lux of THIS era. Whether it’s justified isn’t the point. A lot of younger battle rap fans revere him.

Dude continues to throw out random battles like lux vs Rex/reed if you aren’t excited about seeing him battle jc, who I consider a loser when it comes to top tier guys.
He said he's the Mook of this era. And I agree he is.

He really lost his mojo after the stealing allegations/missing the B Magic battle. That one two combo halted his momentum and once he kinda got outclassed by O-Red, it really sent him into a tailspin

Surf is not the Lux of this generation. If some young fans are calling Surf the Lux of this generation, they must not really know Lux’s history and impact
Again, not relevant to Blac’s point, that people of this generation (battle rap fans who are younger than us and just started watching battle rap in the bast 4 years) revere Surf in a way that we revere Lux and Mook.

Loaded Lux the exact same freestyle a year later, and he's already passed it with 1.3+ million views.
Murda Mook's freestyle has 3000 likes..
Loaded Lux' freestyle has 17.000 likes, that's how good it is
Mysonne has one of the better freestyles on Hot97 and did his in February, it's at a million views. It's one of my favorites.
Lux did his in September, and it's at 1.3 million +
