The T-Top of today is a top tier guy. He had no business being on that hit man card while the url was building him up. Also, url/hit man were beefing at the time.
His contract arrangement is probably different now. He just battled Daylyt a couple of months back. He low key goes around doing one rounders we’ve never heard of.
Even though his top tier status was shaky, T-Top was hot back then. Back then Brizz hadn't put it together yet, Chess was only main stage for 2 on 2's, and they had to force guys like Mr. Wavy & The Saga onto the main stage. The vets were mediocre at that time too, that was the Harry the sponsor era. Remember the hoopla about Gjonaj? A guy like him would never get that much attention now.
Diz wanted to battle T-Top, Arsonal wanted him on a UDUBB card, people wanted to see T-Top battle Bigg K.
That was a pretty lean period when it came to developing talent, and he was the best new guy. URL made him hot, and the other leagues started throwing money at him. He was under contract, but URL was struggling to throw consistent events back then. So he was starting to get frustrated.
