I told nikkas O Red was head and Shoulders better than everybody in 2017. nikkas stay hating on my battlerap opinions but y'all favorite blogger picked O Red for battles of the year and gave him a bag.

I'll say this again too, O Reds 2017 is the greatest run ever.

Jayblac’s whole endgame is for better battles.

The top 20 battlers they selected for last year should be the preseason top 20 for this year. Let’s take someone like NJT. Let’s say he was ranked 7 or whatever. Due to his lost to MR. Wavy, he should drop several slots. Mr Wavy now enters the top 20, due to beating a guy in the top 10.

Keeping the Champion of the year race going throughout the entire year would help him achieve his goal, which is better battles. That’s my opinion though.

These battlers need to see their ranking every week and look for ways to improve it. It also creates even more discussion.

Most of these guys live in the moment, and aren’t thinking about a potential prize in 2019. With these rankings, the incentive is constantly in their face.

I think someone should get this idea to the Champion crew.

i'd prefer that over straight up wins/losses cuz some of these nikkas be winning by default and the battle turns out to be trash, that shouldn't be rewarded imo

Because a lot of stuff we post on this very board eventually gets out there anyway.

I’m also not on social media and not gonna spam this idea on youtube. I would happily discuss this would Jayblac, but not gonna go out of my way to get his attention.

When they recap battlers, they should say for example #1 ranked O-Red went against the #? ranked Cortez at Smack Vol.2.

Using a college style ranking system would be kind of dope. They also have a way to weigh strength of competition. There’s just no need for these nyggas to argue about a top 20 list of 2018 for 5 hours next year when it can be modified every week.

At the end of the year , if you have a guy that beat several nyggas in the top 10, he has a valid argument for battler of the year.

Nah i understood your point. Just didn't agree with it because it made little sense.

If you don't understand venue owners not wanting violence and associating it with a genre of music (or this subgenre that is being seen as a sport as well), you obviously don't get out much so therefore it would make little sense to you. And you more than likely haven't been at events when shyt pops off and venues shut down because of it. Happens all the time. Google it.
