See, Cal did all that bullying to Pat and came off so sloppy that the battle was meh in the end. Just isn't good replay value. Granted, he did it because of that Marv Won shyt but he was sloppy, man.

Against Tay Roc, he was fiyah. I forgot about that one. You right.

I just re-watched that battle (the Pat Stay one) and it's still full of entertainment though, all because of Cal.

Lol, I mean the shyt is funny. But you know that was terrible, fam. C'mon, Cal walked in with the roster from No Limit shouting his slogan and sounding sloppy. And Pat is slipping up on his bars saying he was trying to hold his folks back from fighting. *CAPS voice* I dunno, bro. There are shytshow battles I enjoy but this is not one of them.

Don’t Flop’s old roster would be easy to pick up but battle rap over here hasn’t really had a new wave of talent in a long time. It’s been the same names here for a while now and tbh, they’re a bit stale and the following is almost identical to a Canada crowd. Battle rap is always at its best when there’s a variety of styles.

When Don't Flop hit ATL, it seemed like that would be the new shyt they were on the come up with. But it looks like that battle touring shyt for the league, didn't work out.

Damn, thats some good insight. I remember when URL was trying make that UK division happen and it didn't pan out it seems.

I mean, his first two rounds against Tay Roc were fire. He definitely lost the second but it was good.

That Brizz shyt was ass.

His 1st vs Roc was fire, the other two rounds were wack to me. And there's really no reason to not have 3 rounds when you're battling once or twice every year.

That's been his MO since Lux. His first rounds vs. Rex, Roc, and Brizz were all good, then he spits two rounds of filler the rest of the battle

I gotta give credit where its due. Forget what was actually being said in the battle, Cal snatched Pat's soul that night. Pat hasn't been close to the same since.

Yep. Cal pulled off one of the rarest feats in battle rap - he won the battle without winning a round.

Yeah, its like Cal is damn good but that shyt with Pat annoyed me. Before you say anything now, I will say Pat had it coming...he done picked up a battle rapper, dissed Marv Won's brother, and violated people's space...so Cal was his karma. But that overall battle was meh.

So I guess Cal posed these questions. What do you focus on more? The bars? Or throwing off your opponent? That shyt didn't work with Tay Roc ("I'm not Pat Stay"). It almost worked with Brizz until that 2nd & 3rd round.
