As an incentive to make sure everyone cops the PPV. If people know battles are gonna drop a few weeks or even a month after the PPV, they'll be less inclined to buy it.

Youtube money not what it was. Plus having the events on PPV lessened the incentive to get the battles out for the masses. In their eyes, theres no rush when most ppl have already seen the battles (either by copping or bootlegging)
