Is it really that serious that channels are getting flagged now? These bloggers should just focus on battle rap.
Yeah because their pages are deleted and gone now, so all the content they've worked on and uploaded for years is all gone and so is their revenue. That's a big deal to them.

Jakk doesn't have the technical know how to quickly flag people. The fact that Rome's channel was deleted and not terminated should tell you everything.

Bloggers are part of battle rap, so not wanting to discuss them in this thread is lame.

Yes I think the URL is responsible for getting rid of these guys. Once the PPV era started, bloggers became more popular in battle rap. It just changed the way we have discussions. When Smack Vol.2 happens, we are going to have a Smack vol.2 mega thread. We will talk about the event for 3-4 days, then move on. The bloggers have been bringing a lot of content between events, which is why they are discussed in this thread. Do you really expect people to just discuss old battles all day?

When Smack was not doing PPV, the discussions here were very different, in which the discussions were based more on actual battles.

It’s too easy for someone to just get a camera, blog, and make a name for themselves, so I’m quite sure URL was like we gotta put a stop to that. I don’t think Champion has anything to do with it, but are aware of it, and perhaps even an influence. The URL probably looks at a platform like Champion and are like “ you know what, that’s what battle rap media should look like. We don’t want people to look at battle rap media, and see people talking about ignorant shyt.”

These guys should be able to talk about what they want, so I don’t like that this is happening.

This isn't true at all and really shows that you guys only care about URL. There's street style battles dropping by the dozens every day.

You dudes are talking about bloggers 85% of this thread. That's ridiculous. That's like the coliseum having 85% Stephen a Smith threads.

If y'all not talking about bloggers y'all talking about Mook. Seems like the best way to get TBZ attention is to remove yourself as much as you can from actually battling :mjlol:

I get it and respect this but nah, there are archives of history associated with these channels thats lost now because of this flagging shyt. You may not see it now but it could potentially effect battle rap in a bad way. Think about in this thread...how many AFM interviews with the top guys in battle have been posted? This is years of content we're talking about.

No issue with the bloggers being discussed - just think the threads should be separated.

Give the blogger beef/ fukkery it’s own thread.

Bloggers deleting each other’s YouTube pages = blogger thread

Bloggers interviewing battlers = battle thread

Imagine the NBA thoughts thread being predominantly about Bill Simmons or MMA thoughts thread predominantly about Ariel Helwani

100% agree. Take that blogger shyt to another thread. This thread is so watered down with blogger related news it's ridiculous.

True its related to one league majorly but the importance of the phrase "freedom of the press" isn't some shyt you just throw around. For all this shyt about "keeping it real" in the battles we hear, are we supposed to accept only controlled media from any league? That sounds fake. I get the deal with HHIR (on site interviews and etc.), JayBlac/Champion (ESPN style commentary), and even Black Compass (radio broadcast) but disrespecting the hard work because bloggers aren't under your control shows bad business and collusion.

Two things (1) other leagues had content on some of those channels deleted so, that's fukking selfish in the act and (2) there were good moments where events got promoted, battles got set up, face-offs, behind the scenes talks, and even squashed beefs that were a part of some of these blogs at least.

But see, as much as we want to discuss how battle rap is like basketball...its still too small of community where the whole thing with battle rap can be affected. I could see if it was a run of the mill talk show or two that doesn't shut down a league of a professional sport. But its not that.

Yeah, I agree that the blogger fukkery and beef doesn't help their case. But it stupid to shut down on the history and archives of this shyt. To me, this is just as bad as blocking battles and not booking them. Not a good look.
