I feel like Smack/URL might test this Ru Bando kid out as a possible replacement for Chess. I think he's dope, but I always have to question if a guy is too "NYC" to make it big nowadays.

lol I mention Ru Bando being groomed as a possible replacement for Chess, and what does he do in his PG battle? He gets too caught up in the hype surrounding him and chokes. You can't make this stuff up. I wonder how the rest of the battle turned out.

I like Ru but I need more attributes from him. He’s mastered the WeGoHard wordplay formula (still/steel, here/hair), but he doesn’t have energy, he’s not moving enough, he lacks believability, no types of angles, and a bunch of other shyt. You can’t make it with just an advanced WeGoHard pen

I know but it’s been dominating this thread for like 3-4 weeks now. Events being PPV has made it worse because we stop talking about battles after a few days.

The blogger talk doesn't bother me, but there are literally battles dropping daily outside the URL. I don't know why people don't drop more links if you want to discuss them.

I see these complaints, but yet I don't see anyone posting battles in here that are even worth talking about.

I'm actually gonna start getting back into the smaller street league scene. If it's worth posting, I'll post it, but I'm not gonna post some bs.

I’m at the point now where I only follow names now so that’s the only way I’ll see lower league battles now. I got put off the lower leagues because we have street versions of Combat Carl now.

Problem with lower leagues is the vets always used them as a check, and as a result we would get BS performances. I think that turned a lot of people off.

As soon as Beasley said that I knew he was gonna bring up "the car" freestyle. Nygga was oblivious to what he was talking about. He said "Peter? Oh that was that far back?"

I don't know why that shyt bugs me, but they don't know upcoming cards, can't remember events, battles that took place, etc.

For me it was the fact that these lower league guy sounded like carbon copies of people that were having PG battles at that point in time. Generally speaking, there was zero originality and that’s why I appreciated SDH so much before they all left for TODD’s league.
