I think me, @cornercommission2k12, @wtfyomom @ReasonableMatic are the only ones that still consistently talk about battle rap on here from the first page. Most the others are sporadic or just don't post about it anymore

Say what was some of the first battles yall saw that got yall hooked on battle rap? I think I've mentioned this before but I got into battlerap in 2012 because of Lux/Cal, I was a Hop fan in general long before that, though, but SM2 got me super interested in battle rap. Then I went back and watched the classics and did the knowledge and have been a fan ever since.

Speaking of semi old battles, I remember when I first saw this joint and being at that bar, wasn't mad at all cause he said it in a SMACK crowd full of brehs and said it with his chest!

Prophit did win, but think about this. The battle dropped Jan 2011. Prophit never made a name for himself after this, I don't even know if he had another Smack battle. But what I do know is that at some point his son will look on Youtube and see daddy calling him a "nigg3r". All his friends at school will watch it too, and it may even work it's way around the school staff at some point. Was it worth it????

If you say so. It's arguably one of the worst "see what they do for views" moments in battle rap history, but I guess those were hard hitting bars to some.

Breh was saying all kind of racist shyt throughout the battle. This shyt is thoroughly embarrassing in retrospect, don't remember watching it at the time.

Cool. I was at two of the Scribble Jams. They were cool. I didn't get in the battles tho once I saw two of my homies get jerked. Felt like if I get in it then the same shyt may happen. Met NoCando, Mac Lethal, Slug, Mr. Dibbs, Okwerdz, and a lot of those dudes there.
