Clips/Rex was initially a “money move” battle for both guys because it was gonna be on Duel in the Desert. The guy reached out to the URL to do the event. Once the URL acquired the battle, Rex wanted to take a totally different approach to make himself look good. It really backfired. Eventually KOTD did the event.

I hate how some Harlem dudes think part of being a good "hustler" is being a great con man. Rex & Lux fit into that category. I think Clips & Mook are better "hustlers" in the traditional sense.

Now once you turn the mics on? I want to hear from the shiesty nikkas, they have more interesting stuff to say. But these dudes shot themselves in the foot business-wise, double crossing people left and right. I'm certain that Lux & Rex miss out on biz opportunities because of their past dealings. Not trying to be too judgy, as they were young men from the hood just trying to find their way. I'm just looking back on how things turned out.

i think lux was taken a back by the fact Mook went so hard at him pause and got very personal, i think lux thought oh this is some total slaughter shyt, two harlem legends we are just gonna fukk around and get money and have a lyrical battle. even though yeah lux did have the jacket angle but he didnt do any major personals like mook. so lux needed a win. clips was coming off a clear loss to hollow. lux prob figured he was also gonna pull out all the stops so he turned up on him

if you watch the ruin your day with clips/hollow i think bdot also watched it. they all had hollow 3-0 and were also kind of like yeah we knew clips clearly lost but watching it again he kind of got destroyed and even his so called clear win in rd 3 wasnt all that. clips is def an in the building rapper. i also thought clips did better than he did vs lux in the room though but really at best he had a good round and a half and it wasnt close to enough to win

Man I really hope Craig Lamar makes a breakthrough and has a string of good performances. When this man is on his shyt, it's beautiful to listen to. The Holmzie battle wasn't good enough.

That's a good point. Mook embarrassed him, he got scared, and went all in on Clips. He could have whipped on Clips without the paperwork. But Clips opened that door in his rebuttal to Rex.

also on lux/clips, in the building, we waited mad long between the previous battle, then lux did the bit of changing his clothes, so it seemed like he took mad long to get going where as clips got right into it in his first, so youre thinking ok lux was dope but he took a while but when you watch it on cam, you dont give a fukk and it doesnt seem like that at all. also it was hardly nothing in his round but live it just seemed like damn lux like lets go, so that hurt him. lmao i remember nikkaz were chanting "we are tired" in the time between the second to last battle and lux/clips
oh shyt the coin flip how did i forget? lux was seen as the one at fault i fee like in person, basically you just forward it on youtube so who cares, youre not standing there for hours. thats when i think actually the crowd was saying we are tired, during that coin flip argument

Yeah I've been to 10+ battle events and that's why I try to be understanding to shytty crowds because I know how it is standing on your feet for 8 hours straight (Counting the wait outside), with no food just to watch nikkas battle. You gotta forgive the crowd for missing some over the head shyt.
