Man I forgot all about that miner battle literally haven't watched it again since it dropped, and Jay rell, that's his name, props for pulling that up, yea I felt meyers lost that one. Also felt he didn't have much to offer to battle rap. To go from that impression to where he is now is remarkable.

I gotta disagree. I slept on Myers when he was on AHAT. Then again, I slept on AHAT anyway except for a few people. But yeah, Myers to me always had the elements. He writes very precise bars that can hit the crowd. Got the energy. His persona that fans act weird about...he improved on that.

As far as strictly potential, there is a reason fans seem to always over rate him, it's because he is talented as hell.

Says that slick street shyt url fans love
Funny as hell
Connects to the crowd isn't looking down or away
Reminds you of yo boy you hang out with regularly
Has bars, not just trying to bully his way to wins.
And has a lot of moves to go to.

He just never puts it all together. The couple times he has he stole the show, but he has no dedication to this. So it will always be a "what if" with him.

With all that potential and not using it, I feel like it makes it worse when he goes off on rants about battle rappers. He might as well jump in the ring with them but he won't. Damn shame, because he could be on another level than where he is at now.

Basically. His level of talent makes me respect his antics even LESS. This guy could be possibly be putting his family in a much better position if he stopped whining, and took battling seriously. Leagues still take a chance on him when his heart clearly isn't in it. What does he have the right to gripe about?

Suge is no longer an opponent muthafukkas can easily beat like he used to be. He might be the most improved battle rapper ever.
He clearly got the W when I saw it the first go around and Mike P had some ill shyt.

Shout out to Serge Dot T, he is a good dude, and one of the people who jumped off RMBVA after the Rapmusic.com forums fell off.

Around the time when the PGs started, he somehow was able to set up a special viewing of NOME 1 for select members of the forum in the old Smack offices. This was before any of the battles had dropped on Youtube.

Before we watched Suge vs Miles, we basically went around the room talking about how terrible we think Suge is. Maybe one person out of the group of 8-12 people from RMBVA actually like Suge. But Smack n'em was like "I don't know, Busta Rhymes, so & so and so & so all rock with his battles..... anyway, watch this battle with an open mind and tell us who you think won".

By the time the battle was over, all the wind had been taken out of the room because somehow Suge had actually won. It was that hard to believe at the time, because that was back when winning and losing meant a lot. It's comical to think of how negative we felt towards Suge at the time, as Suge went on to become a battle rap icon, and Midwest Mild is nowhere to be found.

Qleen isn’t nearly as good, even potentially, as some of you apparently think he is.

Stop. Qleen's mannerism and etc. definitely show his talent to becoming somethin more. If you don't see that, that's on you. All we're saying is that its damn shame him and hell even the other QP do not live up to what they could be.

I agree. His whole rant about A. Ward, Loso, Saga, and Street Hymns was weird to me because they all put in work and show up to their battles. His beliefs on religion I don't fault him for but battling...yeah its weird they'd use gun bars but they fulfill their obligations as battle rappers still.

It's possible (likely?) that he's just not my cup of tea I guess. I don't think he's good at all really, basically the definition of a lower mid tier cat to me. I've never really fukked with his bars, I think he's funny though. I've always thought he was just more of a relatable character than an actually good battler.:yeshrug:

A focused version of him would have all the intangibles to be top tier, he just rarely shows up for 3 rounds if he shows up at all so people imagine an entire battle of the flashes of brilliance he shows, but yea I can see his heart isn't 100% in it so I gave up on that, but I'd be all for it if he did put it together

really beginning to dislike Loso

bruh needs to get back to youth pastoring outside the abortion clinic already

I think the obnoxiousness & elitism of the Christian battlers adds entertainment value. There's no way they could stay relevant otherwise. Besides, at the end of the day these guys are putting on a show, and they are damn near VILLAINS in the world of battle rap. Me wanting Loso to lose does more for him than me being indifferent about him. And if they're really about that pastoral life, then they should understand how showmanship can enhance a message.
