Jimz did do this to save face, and I don't respect dudes like him. But Rome crossed the line with his blog, so he earned a sucker punch, or worse. He had pics of dude's family in his blog, and he didn't really understand why people thought he was going too far. This is a good life lesson for Rome. Not sure where Jimz goes from here, but he's put himself in a corner. He has to sell some tickets for whoever books him next, otherwise he can just wrap the battle rap thing up.

lol I was thinking this the moment I heard the diss, even mentioned it in the thread but I didn't want to jump out the window. Now after witnessing all of the fallout and damage that diss has done (not to mention it was way more vulgar than Ether), Story of Adidon belongs in the Hall of Fame of diss tracks. :salute:

That's what I think as well. Jimz did do this to save face, however you don't get stripes for swinging on Rome. Especially when there is another man in your hood violating your family on cam to anyone that would listen, and had you set up to get hit...and he's walking around alive and well.

And yes Rome got what he deserved. There's a reason why CAPS don't go to events :russ: I don't know how Chris got away with going to events when he aired battlers out on his channel. Anyways, Rome doesn't have whatever clout Chris has, so he needs to be careful.

Ok, I will say that whatever that shyt is with short dude that got Jimz setup for that hit, he needs to show thats been taken care of somehow; hopefully non-incriminating. Especially since its public knowledge and thats the guy that put him on blast about the Greek shyt. If he can squash the beef with Qleen and Goodz, battle Tech 9, and attempt to talk it out with Rome then that shyt with ole boy sounds like its unfinished. That guy isn't a battle rapper and knows his family so that is definitely different.

Well the Qleen beef didn't so bad that it couldn't be handled over the phone. and Goodz admitted he was wrong to Jimz and the world, so I could see why Jimz would have an easier time letting that go because he was right in that situation.

but this other dude...I can't see that issue not being resolved without bloodhsed. He's crossed the line several times and is unapologetic about it. Jimz might have no choice but to wear that L.

I agree with all this especially with that short dude. It just sounds like if he even settles that, he won't be able to talk about it. Which sucks for him because that incident will follow his career for a while.

I think part of me feels bad for Jimz because he could have died from that hit to the temple. And I don't know if people know how serious that could have been.

jimz has now been involved with two punches, really 3 if we count the first one but it was outside, at consecutive battle rap events

it's kind of more an insult that he hasnt been banned like math was, it says people really just see him as a joke

I always wondered if Chris Unbias knew how to box. He looks and talks like a 90's era boxer. He was an easy person to clown, but he never seemed scared of any of these battlers to me.

ARP has a whole promotional plan for this event, and he's not going to let a guy who didn't have a hand in making this event possible mess that up. Why does ARP have to answer to Math? Math doesn't know the card. ARP wanted to see what type of hype King Los name generated, so he announced him early because of the shock factor. I'm not enthused about him battling either, but it's clear that this card will have an extra long roll out.

Unfortunately Math's whole shtick revolves around making people feel like they owe him something, or need to put him on a pedestal. He will never forget giving Tsu Surf a pat on the back in 2010. That's just the type of guy he is. He still talks about when he was the highest paid in URL back in 2011. That's who he is. He's got to learn to be less transparent about his motives, especially now that he's earned some respect back in the ring.
