Nyggas will not pay to see this nygga talk about battle rap.

Now mainstream rap? Possibly but like I said I don’t think he has the interest. Obviously there some artist he likes but as a whole?
Only way he could do it live is if he had a big battle rapper on the show. Like Lux.

Even then, that’s a stretch. These guys aren’t a personality like Joe Budden. Not anyone can do what he does.

His base his hip hop, but he talks about a whole lot of shyt to keep the audience engaged when they did that podcasts at that venue.

Quite honestly, these battlers are not entertaining enough to pay to watch on a live show.

I think Verb could pull it off if he had the drive and could actually apply his ideas.

He couldn’t do it constantly but it could be done. I’ve seen people with less audience and more niche pull off live podcasts.

You believe people (battle rap fans) would pay to see that?

I’m not from the east coast so y’all would be More equipped to answer .

I think it's worth a shot. The most you'll lose is some time and maybe a band if it doesn't work. But if it does, you may have something.

I think if set up in conjunction with actual battles, it can work. If they trash talk and shoot off on each other WWE style for their battles, and then give a bit of an analysis afterwards, it can definitely go somewhere, it's what battle rap is missing at times. Get some of the older guard to show it can be done first (ala surf) though

If they worked with RBE to do Live faceoffs for the Verb v Mook card, then yeah I think they could pull off charging money for it. If Lux or Surf is also on the card and they've agreed to do the faceoffs, then a Live version of Champion could pull a decent crowd.
