Yeah, I hate when people behave the way he does, at least when he's doing his battle rap persona. He is such a try-hard that everything he does is tainted to me. He was talking about "haters" in a post about his unborn babies. Buffoonery.

I'm not like a genius or anything, but the way some of these dudes are addressing certain issues or even debating some of these battlers is just crazy. Verb and Mook are some of the most intellectually dishonest battlers I've ever seen, and these hosts just let them rock

Man I brought this up years ago. The reality of it is that the really intelligent fans don't have time to debate some bytch ass battle rappers. As a grown man, you have to utilize your time wisely. Who is really gonna invest their time talking to these guys on the phone, when there is no financial incentive to do so?
The guys that have shown intelligence (Chris the weirdo, Jon Rines) would just blog on their own time. They had jobs, so they wouldn't have time to conduct phone interviews.
Watson, who is the star of PSA, is cool with being the side kick because this isn't his life. He's out doing other shyt while listening to younger music.
For guys like Caps, 3letterman, & Battle truth, this is all they got.

Only Tony Bro, Posey and Jay Blac can debate these battlers intellectually, that do this full time. The rest aren't smart enough.

The smartest person that's involved in the culture, that's in media, is 100% Jon Rines, but most of his live youtube shows aren't about battle rap. He definitely discusses it, but it's background stuff. He's much more into UFC.
And like you said, Watson is smart enough, though he sometimes is dishonest in his perspective for shock value and I don't believe he's the best judge of actual bars sometimes. But I think he'd be able to debate a battler like Verb or Mook 1 on 1 and hold his own for sure.
