this battle is highly rewatchable (imo)...and we get a champion episodePPV got me not even giving a damn about battles getting dropped on YouTube.![]()

It's cute but they are treating the actual battles as if they shouldn't serve as promo for the battlers and future events.Going at fans who didnt order the ppv in the trailers, as if every single battle is fire
yea ok people should support ppv's at some point for the culture and all that I get that angle, and I do a decent amount of the time, hardcore fans buy ppv's, you don't gain new fans without youtube, and battles can easily be swept under the rug if they don't drop with how fast things move in the battle rap culture, so someones stock won't raise as fast without joints dropping, so that is reasoning. It's cute but they are treating the actual battles as if they shouldn't serve as promo for the battlers and future events.
Next step gotta be on Tidal or Spotify I think. Hell, even Netflix. It makes too much sense not to do it.I've ordered enough PPV's to know that although the live experience is cool, I'm fully content waiting on these battles to drop on youtube from now on. It's not to say I won't order PPV's in the future, I just know you are taking a risk anytime you purchase this type of content.
The battles nowadays are just okay anyway. You're fortunate to get some really dope battles out of an event.
Battle rap is always evolving, so I'm curious what the next step is after this "small vip event, PPV" wave phase has run it's course.

Youtube will always exist, but with some many creators complaining about their monetary issues with the platform, I see a lot of people transitions from there soon.
Beasley kinda talked about on Norbes podcast people trying to take over URL (Someone with a lot of money and a name) but they offered peanuts (his words) and weren't even sure if they'd be able to operate it properly.
They tried with Smack TV but the site was kinda trashI’m still not sure why the URL doesn’t create their own streaming/content platform.
Imagine a Smack/URL online video streaming service.
Websites aren’t my specialty, but look at WSHH. They drop streaming content and the website has always looked shytty.

I think they would probably fukk it up somehow if they tried again. I see all kinda technical issues
This makes a lot of sense for both platformsNext step gotta be on Tidal
