At one point earlier this year I was talking to a dude affiliated with WeGoHard at a local barbershop. He told me that they had an all female card planned, and they ended up having to cancel 7 of the 8 battles. I don't believe the failure of female battle rap really lies on Debo's shoulders, it's just not a lucrative hustle for either side.
I know we clown Debo a lot, but do you think Beasley and them are built for all that? The way he embarrasses dudes, it just won't work with a female.

The URL demands way more respect then any other league. The presentation, look, etc is all better then QOTR.These top tier females go to smaller leagues and outdraw the dudes there. Why would this be a problem for the URL? I'm talking about 2-3 events a year,once they build up a roster. You handle female battle rap just like they handled west coast battle rap. They took their time by just doing one event a year. During the year, they can put one female battle on another card. They can slowly work up to it.
Debo is a huge part of the failure of female battle rap. I think Beasley would communicate way better with the female battlers then Debo. He's a joke, and no one wants to deal with him. He got a lot of these girls when they were really young. Once they became adults, they weren't putting up with his bullshyt. It's as simple as that.
Not at all. I don't think RBE has any interest in putting the time and effort to develop female talent. RBE just uses talent that is already out there.
It probably put a sour taste in ARP's mouth to see a guy like JMurda get pushed on RBE, just to do a pg on the URL. Craig Lamar did the same thing. Oops seems to just want to battle on KOTD now. Showoff disappeared.
I think ARP is good on developing talent, and just makes battles that he wants to see, from the top tier to the lower level.
