Chess vs Twork actually made sense and it wasn’t even used on a card. Not sure what the problem is. It was free.
The one thing I’ll say about the RBE card is it’s somewhat different, which can be refreshing. With the URL, once a guy works himself into that rotation with guys like jc/nitty/gotti/ttop/etc, then these guys basically just battle each other.
With RBE, he’ll come up with a battle that he wants to see. It typically ends being a battle no one was thinking of. So there’s interest there, but your expectations are kept to a minimum.
I think he may have found his lane, by putting together cards with one big battle, maybe one strong undercard battle, and just fill out the rest of the card. Reminds me of a boxing format.

Chess and Twork made sense, but really that battle deserved a build-up. Unfortunately the way their careers were going it became a "In case of emergency break glass" battle. It also became a battle that NEEDED to be held in a controlled environment, because these guys were liable to choke at any moment.
