He's asking what does it mean to split screens in real life. Like what are they actually saying they are gonna do?

Like if you walked up to a crew you had beef with and said we bout to split ya screens, what do you mean exactly?

I think it works better when you read the bar as more metaphorical than a normal punch aka we had to split screen (you focus on one and i the other, like the shared vision of the targets gets split) like it's golden eye.
