I think he trying to get on TV independetly. He has some dating show on MTV with Justina Valentine on their youtube.
Either way he seems to make a good living doing what he does and doesnt need to depend on battles.

No one should really depend on battles to make a living.

The more i watch chess/tay roc the more i realize chess won and was on his way to a 30. And i thought roc's second was on some magical shyt first time i watched it.

I think it's safe to say chess probably has the most rounds in a "top 30 rounds" or something list from any battle rapper(Twork/Verb would be up there as well). He hasn't gave a full 3 round clean performance since probably uff but there's over 5 battles i can think of right now where he had round of the year material in.

"Keep the ratchet under the bed like wifey back" is still one of the hardest lines i ever heard in my life.

Yeah....that short Thriller set up Chess landed was the highlight of the battle for me vs Roc , I damn near gave him the battle off that alone.
