How nikkas think about Geechi is how I look at Chess when it comes to that street shyt. Yeah I moved to LA but I'm a NY nikka. And Chess speaks that NY street shyt that I know. Plus his pen is crazy. He said some of the coldest shyt I ever heard.

I disagree. That suge battle is very similar to suge/surf. Suge came out unscathed in both battles due to his opponents preparation.

URL will always give him opportunities, but he’s done in my mind. He’s already had his best moments, which is strange, because it felt like he was just getting started.

I simply accepted he would never become what I expected him to become after UFF

At some point I simply accepted the reality of him not elevating. It’s been YEARS bro.

I’m off it til he shows me different, which he hasn’t, it’s been 3 years now.

UFF was a good look for Chess, cause we saw him in short rounds and they forced him to stop during his rounds.

Ever since that guidance been gone he got exposed to not bein as good as we thought he would be.

Once he gets to do what he SHOULD be doin, I’ll be right here advocating for him.
Until then, it is what it is.

Every critique for him I’ve ever posted been backed with facts, never any hate. (Just like I did just now by posting the video with timestamps)

Verb is my favorite battler, but did that stop me from bashing him and the whole STL for like 2-3 years? Y’all nyggas had no idea I was a fan.

Let’s just be objective. The kid can’t get through a battle clean. Can’t be championing these nyggas for these weak ass performances man. Steams remembers chess’ own rhymes better then he does.

I'm not saying you was or wasn't, I didn't know if you liked him or not. I was stating if you didn't, I can understand why you would continue not to fukk with him.

As far as everything else, you're arguing something I never argued. All I said was Chess is still fire, and he is. Lol. I never said he elevated, I'm not "advocating" for him, and I never said you hated on him. or that you weren't objective.

At the end of the day this shyt is just entertainment. I get entertainment out of bars and delivery. Don't get me wrong, I fukking hate that pause/choke Chess does every battle, sometimes multiple times. Which is why I don't have him in my top 10 battlers. But as far as entertainment for what I like, he provides it tenfold. I'm not one these Angryfan "I'm a fan of the guys who work extremely hard at their craft/work men like battlers" who I'm supposed to be a fan of because they never "Slack". I don't give a fukk about none of that shyt. lol. Here's a cookie and 500 dollar check to open up at Born Legacy 12. I'm not gonna be a Danny Myers fan because he tries hard (Not to shyt on him, because I've actually grown to be entertained by him). But all that "well he wins all the time, and he tries hard, and he never chokes" shyt don't mean I'm a rock with the battler. This is entertainment, this isn't a point system like sports. I go by what I actually like to sit down and watch.

Give me 1 Chess round over 30 "try my hardest by golly gee willikers" rounds from Danja Zone.
