Hopefully he's doing more than that but you highlighting those was just hilarious to me. I legit laughed out loud

You don’t have to battle in a hostile environment to be a street battler... or even battled in the streets period to do street rap... some people can be street as hell without all that and know the streets. I don’t agree with the shyt he saying.. like I could never take mook serious as a street battler. I can’t take half of them to be completely street now that I think about it cuz you constantly let the next man spit in your face when he rapping disrespectful towards you. I don’t give a fukk. Like fresh said though. It’s just entertainment..

I think you may be misinterpreting what he’s saying, and his view of what a street battler is.

Technically, a “street battler” is someone who has literally battled in the streets. Therefore, from Diz’s perspective, Mook is a street battler, because he was battling in the streets. How is this incorrect? Hell, Jin was battling in the streets, and would be a street battler from his perspective. You got street comedians. Street magicians. Are you starting to get the idea now?

A “stage battler,” is someone who has been on stages. How can you consider someone a stage battler , if they are never experienced?

You are looking at it from a content perspective. Let’s take someone like Geechi Gotti. He’s a battle rapper that happens to be a street nygga. In this era he is a league battler. That doesn’t make him any less street. He participates in a street style form of battle rap.

Diz should start blogging. He has a good point of view and is credible.

I agree with him 100% Cassidy will have that environment set up to ruin the battle if he's getting smoked. It's actually smart. I wouldn't be surprised if Cassidy was getting smoked and started his next round with some vulgar lines about Goodz daughter and force Goodz to make that decision.

He couldve ran with battle rap deposits and smoked them on crack or depend on battle rap money to feed his children.
:francis:

For battle rap standards buying an i8 is more then i expected anyone to accomplish.
But if you expect these battlers to utilize battle rap in such a way they own forbes top 100 companies i dont know what to tell ya.

Irrelevant but Con owns an Bmw I8 and his kicks game is unmatched.
Dont think any battle rapper utilized battle rap as effective as he did. Gotta respect that
Not that I disagree with the conclusion but I question the reasoning. :dwillhuh:

The more i watch chess/tay roc the more i realize chess won and was on his way to a 30. And i thought roc's second was on some magical shyt first time i watched it.

I think it's safe to say chess probably has the most rounds in a "top 30 rounds" or something list from any battle rapper(Twork/Verb would be up there as well). He hasn't gave a full 3 round clean performance since probably uff but there's over 5 battles i can think of right now where he had round of the year material in.

"Keep the ratchet under the bed like wifey back" is still one of the hardest lines i ever heard in my life.
Nah, Roc got that second. Chess SHOULD have had the third but he was stumbling too much and really just rapped too long.

He could have one the third to me too, but it had more dry spots, Chess first and Roc second are rounds i actually love revisiting from both. He wasnt as long winded as some other times here, but Chess always has one round where he goes super crazy for 12 minutes if he split them up into two rounds he would have more clear wins lol
