Basically. It puts unfair expectations on a battle, and you're almost always going to be disappointed because you expect so much.

Plus, it literally CAN'T be a classic until. a considerable amount of time has passed. It can only be a classic in retrospect, after it stands the test of time. There is no such thing as an "instant" classic. If anything, that is just a bold prediction.
