Mook and Lux aren’t even in the same ballpark in this comparison. None of these guys you’re talking about, even if they think they could beat Lux, are going into a Lux battle thinking there’s nothing he can do with him and they’ll walk right through it with minimal effort. A lot of battlers legitimately believe that about Mook, but they just know they wouldn’t be in a position to get the battle in the first place. You may hear someone say they don’t think Lux is a god or above everyone but you’re never gonna hear a rapper say they think he is outright wack, even when trying to sell a fight or goad him into a battle. Dudes will flat out say they think Mook is wack.
Let’s be real here. If you come with three, good consistent rounds and you’re a top tier battler, unless your opponent COMPLETELY leaves Earth, you’re never going to “clearly” lose. As long as you don’t choke your fans are always going to be able to argue you won, or you yourself can and there will be minimum pushback. There are plenty of people who still feel Clips beat both Hollow and Lux, that Hitman beat Surf, Mook beat Verb, etc.
I don’t think Mook ever ends up battling someone who will do him bad, at least in the near future. I could see him battling Arsonal, Cassidy, or Hitman, and I really don’t think any of them would get him out of there, if anything it would just be a bad battle. Brizz would be the one to do it in a comeback battle but I just have a feeling Mook would come out of the woodwork with a random dominant performance based on angle like he did with Lux and Roc. Not sure who else there is for Mook to battle off the top of my head; I guess maybe Hollow, DNA, or Shine.I believe you thought I was hating on him as well
Mook is there to be 3-0 body bagged if he doesn’t make changes. To his credit, he doesn’t put himself in situations that allow it to happen. It should have happened at SM11, but Reed was the perfect opponent, as he’s just as outdated as Mook.
I’ve also said he would have been booed in the building down south if he spit that shyt he did against Verb. He’s fortunate that was a home game. I’m not sure Atlanta would allow him to finish a 30 min round.

It takes two to negotiate, and all we know is JC is good on the battle...we don't know if it even got to a negotiation. They probably just gave them their number, which was something realistic, and he went and posted his response on Twitter.

I think it's because the numbers of what people got paid is out there, so if others saw that, they're probably trying negotiate or close to it. You basically got FOX Network and Drake paying for URL battles now, I'd be looking to cash out crazy. The checks these dudes is getting now is crazy. JC got 5 figures for Nunn Nunn on SuperFight. I'd want at least 4 times than for Surf.
